Ton is an adventure seeking backpacker and a graduate of Bachelor in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Born in Quezon City, he grew up with a strong interest in the fields of Geography, History and Culture. He is a former overseas Filipino worker and currently works as a call center agent. Nature tripping is what he adores and he finds it as an awesome journey to self discovery. He may be a lonesome buddy but he is a self-described outgoing fellow with a sunny personality.
His burning desire to travel began when he and his family had a short vacation for the first time in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines in April 2010. And that's when he started to become passionate in exploring faraway places. He aims to learn more about people's culture and their way of life through his adventures.
Ton, The Outgoing Navigator (Thoughts from the blogger)
A navigator is basically a pathfinder. All of us are "navigators" in a sense that we continuously “navigate” throughout the course of our lives so we can redefine our purpose. Goals are accomplished because of the precise direction that was followed to achieved it.
Outgoing is simply being friendly. It's a jolly trait that brings out the character of a person. I'm really shy in nature but travelling alone has taught me to become more warm and sociable.
I am a navigator...and becoming an outgoing person is something that I have learned to develop as I interact with people when I travel. The Outgoing Navigator is a way for me to look things into a different perspective, to have a meaningful connection to people and share my thoughts on my journeys.
